My name is Jochen Meixner and I am a specialist for storage and backup solutions located in Germany. After 13 years working for IBM as a System Engineer and IT Consultant, I have worked for 14 years for an IBM Business Partner as a Principal IT Consultant. Now I am working for a big Service Provider in Germany as an Senior Expert for Backup and Storage Solutions and an Expert Enterprise Architect planning and implementing backup and storage environments for managed service clients.

My areas of expertise are - among others - Project Management, Architecture, Backup & Restore, Storage (Block-, File-, Object- and Tape-Storage), Software-defined-Storage, Virtualization and Cloud Computing.
